In addition, the NS for fencing.cymru is set to IONOS, so any changes to DNS must be changed through here. This particularly applies when a new droplet is created, as the A/AAAA settings will need to be edited.

When the server has been updated, the IP address of all the domains needs to be moved to the IP address of the new server. To check the DNS has propogated, check the IP address here::

Primary Administration of fencing.cymru website:
Akeeba Panopticon is a standalone PHP application. You install on a domain or subdomain separate from your sites. You can then use it to monitor and manage all of your sites remotely.
Panopticon is installed on a separate domain on our Droplet within DO. Its on the same server as our Joomla website.

The introduction of Digital Ocean affected emails being sent by the Joomla Admin system. There aren't many - just prompts about upgrades and the daily confirmation of the backup. However, with Digital Ocean blocking the standard port 25, we had to find a way around it. We implemented SendPulse, which accepts the SMTP request through port 2525 & then sends on the email request. Easy solution. And free
WF use Stripe as payment processor. Payments for events are paid into our Stripe account, from where they sweep into our bank account.
For competitions, the payment comes in via Sport80; for events such as Commonwealths etc, we raise invoices via Stripe.
