Team Selection Criteria
Welsh Fencing Selection Policy Consultation
by Matt Russell
Welsh Fencing would like to invite feedback and comments to the attached draft revised Selection Policy developed by the board.
It has been a number of years since this has been updated, and along with the full integration of Welsh Veterans Fencing into Welsh Fencing, it provided the opportunity and impetus to review and update this document.
The policy follows much of the existing policies and elements from the British Fencing selection policy. It is intended to provide further clarity on the processes, criteria and eligibility for selection.
We would very much like to hear your views on this important document, and a feedback form is available at https://forms.office.com/r/iGdRdLQ6qT which asks for comments on the various sections of the policy. This consultation will close on 14th April 2023.
The board look forward to receiving your comments and finalising the document ready for the 2023/24 season and beyond.
